SJB prepares students for a life of service. Opportunities to serve begin in the classroom.

• Older students serve younger students as mentors and tutors. 
• Students serve food during the Highland Blessing Dinner at the Highland Center.
• The school joins the Cathedral ministry of collecting supplies for Hope Connections.
• NJHS collects supplies brought in by school families to create Blessing Bags which are given to the Cathedral so they have ready-made meals for those who visit the Cathedral in need of immediate help.
• Students facilitate canned food drives for the Loyola College Prep’s FAiTH program and for St. Vincent de Paul.
